COCOS/MALPELO

High-voltage, adrenaline-pumping action
with the biggest, most sensational animals in the oceans.
Welcome to Cocos / Malpelo . . . . the Jurassic Park of Diving.

Liveaboards

We rate the Sea Hunter and Undersea Hunter quite simply as two of the world’s top live-aboards.

Now they have a new sister, the 131 foot flagship Argos, which will be the home base for the high-tech "Deep See" submersible and will be operating programs to Cocos & Malpelo islands.

The Argos accommodates a maximum of 14 guests in spacious staterooms, each fitted with satellite phones.

We'll have eye-witness reports coming in by the end of June so watch this space for further updates.

In 2008, we have spaces on several charters and in
2009 we have three full boat charters aboard the Sea Hunter for April 25-March 5, September 18-30 and October 2-12.

The Okeanos Aggressor, also always an excellent option to Cocos, operates 8  & 10 night trips and we have several dates aboard her for 2008 and 2009.

You can find dates for all 4 of these boats on the
availability listing.

 Cocos / Malpelo  Overview

It would be hard to rival these islands for excitement.

A World Heritage site, Cocos Island, some 300 miles off the
western coast of Costa Rica, is a playground for giant Manta rays,
Moray eels, bottle nose dolphins, schooling Hammerhead Sharks
and . . . when the elements are right, whale sharks, too.

And don’t think that’s all. On the long list of marine life you can
expect to see, include large schools of jack fish, snapper, tuna,
silky sharks, silver tips, marlins . . . . the list is long and varied.
Even lobsters, octopus & turtles abound.

You’ll experience shallows - and deep, sheer walls – corals,
channels, pinnacles – and some wild currents. This is  not
novice diving! It’s truly amongst the most spine-tingling
experiences a diver can ever have.

Additional information  coming soon.
