They shot some great footage for the new IMAX film  “Under the Sea 3D” due for launch in Spring 20009.  See the teaser here  http://imax.com/underthesea/ Operating out of Rabaul, the trips take in the Southern Coast of New Britain, including Waterfall Bay, Lindenhaven and Gasmata.  January, February and March are the optimum times for diving this area of New Britain, with balmy weather and very little rain activity.  The diving largely features an incredible variety of the rare and unusual critters in the bays and around the many small tropical sand islands.  Included in the mix is the more traditional PNG reef diving with the great diversity of reef fish, corals, some sharks, turtles and rays.
