Low-key living, delightful diving

Launched in May 2012, the Bahamas Aggressor is a 100 foot yacht with a wide beam. Built and powered for comfort, safety and stability, she is diesel-powered, cruises at 12 knots and has 110-volt power onboard. The Bahamas Aggressor embarks in Nassau, with easy access to numerous airlines.

The top sundeck is equipped with shaded wet bar, sun loungers and a hot tub plus plenty of seating for everyone.  The comfortable air-conditioned salon has ample room for divers to view their photos and videos or to enjoy a movie on the entertainment system.

The large dive deck has individual lockers, a camera table, and an easy enter/exit platform with two showers. Photographers will find a complete photo center with a digital video and still photo editing computer.

The Bahamas Aggressor sleeps 14 guests in privacy and comfort, accommodation includes 5 deluxe cabins with a double and single berth and 1 quad cabin with two sets of twin bunks. All cabins have individual climate controls and private bathrooms.

Diving amenities include nitrox (at extra cost), individual dive lockers, camera table with low-pressure air hoses, and two hot, fresh water showers.

Meal times....

All meals include restaurant-style tableside service and the menus are varied and include a combination of American cuisine, local dishes and bbq feasts.  Breakfast is cooked to order, lunches are buffet-style, featuring hot soups, homemade breads, salads and sandwiches and entrees.  In the evening elegant dinners are chef prepared and served tableside; typical menus feature salads, vegetables, seafood, beef or chicken with a fresh homemade dessert.

In addition to the main meals there are also fresh home baked mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks to keep hunger at bay. Beverages (soft beverages, local beer and wine) are complimentary while onboard.

What to Expect

The Bahamas Aggressor departs from Nassau to explore the dramatic walls, lovely coral reefs and exciting animal encounters of the Exuma Cays, which consists of 350 small islands and cays. The tropical Atlantic pours over the deep cuts between the cays and constantly shifting sand bars.  Waters are thick with coral reefs that are alive with a lively variety of marine life from eye-popping angelfish & butterfly fish – to the charismatic food-chain toppers like groupers and barracuda – right down to the tiniest living invertebrates.  Conditions permitting, night diving allows guests to experience an entirely different group of critters and a bevy of behaviours not visible during the day.

A 15 ft x 4 ft tender is used to take guests for 1 - 2 shore excursions during the week.
