Dive sites around Bimini vary from shallow reefs and wrecks to breath-taking drop-offs offering the chance to encounter large numbers of Bermuda chub, Atlantic spotted dolphins, southern stingrays, fast and agile black nose sharks as well as the great hammerheads for which the islands are best known.
Ultimate Bahamas: 14 nights ... This is a bit of the best of everything. Besides sharks, keep an eye out for several species of dolphins and whales as well as the endangered Nassau grouper. This itinerary follows an almost circular route via the Exumas and Eleuthera giving scuba divers the opportunity to explore all of The Bahamas underwater wonders, and more, in one trip.during the shimmering May to August period. The itinerary title says it all. From playful dolphins to fierce predators, these trips offer divers a glimpse of Nature's extremes.
Wrecks, Blue Holes & Sharks: either 7 or 10 nights ... This is a mixture of some of the finest shark diving around Tiger Beach with wreck diving off the South-West coast of New Providence, plus a spectacular Blue Hole off the East coast of Andros Island. Also incorporating the Berry Islands, this itinerary offers a wide variety of dives and possible encounters. You can expect to see plenty of shark action as well stunning reefs, walls and deep drop-offs.
All Bahamas Master itineraries embark and disembark in Bradford Marine, Freeport, Grand Bahama which is served by Grand Bahama International Airport (FPO).
We recommend guests spend a night in the Bahamas before cruise departure. Embarkation will be at 5 pm. Disembarkation at the end of the cruise will be at 8 am. Transfers to and from the airport or hotels are not included in the rates. If you are not remaining in the Bahamas for additional nights after your cruise, please allow plenty of time for the transfer to the airport and for check-in.
On certain dive sites, after the scheduled dives, there is an open deck policy where divers can jump in the water and watch the action as the mood takes them. Currents and swells are the norm in the Bahamas, notably around Tiger Beach. It is therefore recommended that divers have experience beyond beginner level to ensure maximum enjoyment, especially with the nature of the wildlife in the area.
