Indo Aggressor

KomodoDancerYacht3 opt

Based in Bali, the Indo Aggressor is a traditionally-crafted wooden motor sailer which accommodates 16 divers & explores the waters in the Flores Sea including Komodo National Park.

A word from Dom :  "The Indo Aggressor has been cruising these waters since long before many of the other current liveaboards. She has a certain old-world charm and avoids being too hard on the budget, making her a welcome choice for Komodo & beyond."  Dominick Macan

Bali to Komodo - The boat embarks at Benoa Harbour in Bali & disembark in Labuan Bajo, Flores.  You'll begin the cruise by sailing toTulamben, Bali where you'll dive the famous USS Liberty Wreck before sailing east to poular Moyo and Satonda Islands, Bima Bay, Sangeang Volcano and many other highlights of Komodo National Park. Along the way, there will be hiking in Gili Lawa Darat and also the walk on Rinca Island to see the Komodo Dragons. Divers enjoy the abundance and diverssity of hard & soft corals, the schooling jacks, oceanic white tip sharks, underwater bubbles from Sangeang Volcano, excellent macro life, octopus, manta rays, eagle rays, and occasional mola-molas.

Komodo - Perhaps the most diverse of all diving in the Indonesian archipelago.  There are seamounts, walls, canyons and pinnacles as well as the spectacular coral gardens.  There a hot spring at an underwater volcano, great night dives on black sand slopes with creepy, crawly critters.  Numerous sites tout pelagic fish, sharks & mantas but, be assured that at each dive site, you'll experience something different.

South Komodo - The boat embarks and disembarks at Labuan Bajo, Flores and the entire cruise is focused on diving South Komodo National Park.  This is only possible in the 1st quarter of the year during the North West Monsoon. Mota Island and Mola Straits are available in this itinerary only.  You'll dive with manta rays and occasional molas in Langkoi, experience excellent macro life, hordes of schooling fishes such as jacks & bumphead wrasses, view stellar soft coral growth, observe torpedo rays, and see bright sea apples in Mota Island.  Plus you'll have a Dragon Walk at Rinca.

Labuan Bajo to Komodo - The boat embarks and disembarks from Labuan Bajo and the cruise covers northern Komodo.   The highloights include schooling angel fish, octopus & turtles, some super macro life, excellent walls completely covered with soft corals, fish such as oriental sweet lips, schooling fusiliers & Napolean wrasse ... plus, oceanic white tip and black tip sharks, eagle rays & manta ray.  You'll also get Dragon Walk on Rinca, bubbling reef at Sangeang Volcano and the Bonto Village Visit.

The Forgotten Islands - This itinerary departs from Maumere on Flores Island.  The dive sites vary greatly, with many presenting exciting pelagic encounters and large, swirling schools fish  ... while others offer up weird and wonderful creatures hidden away in healthy, colorful corals.   You get, at one end of the scale: stargazers, stonefish, ghost pipefish ... while at the opposite end jacks, giant trevallies, barracuda, hammerhead sharks, and on certain trips, divers are treated to a salt-water crocodile at one site!

TRAVEL & CRUISE LOGISTICS

International flights generally arrive at one of the following airports:  Bali-Denpasar (DPS) ... Jakarta (CGK)  ... Manado (MDC)  ,,, but for these itineraries, Bali tends to be the most practical.  If you are on a Bali to Komodo cruise, you will leave from Benoa Harbor in Bali.  All other itineraries require a domestic flight to either Labuan Bajo or Maumere on Flores. We will be pleased to help you book your domestic flights through our Bali agent.

The boat's scheduled departure time varies depending on current domestic airline schedules, which can change, so departure details are not listed here. We'll inform you at time of booking and will keep you posted on any possible changes.
