 Comfort & traditional style

The stunning Mutiara Laut, “the Pearl of the Sea”, was carefully constructed to cater to your comfort & luxury.  Her design is based on that of an 18th century North Atlantic schooner combined with local Indonesian influences of the traditional “phinisi” sailing ships.  She's a thoroughbred sailing yacht and was purposely designed and rigged to have true sailing capabilities. Contrary to the many other liveaboards around her, her sails are not just for show!

To enjoy the spectacular island scenery, guests can relax on the huge lounge area on the main deck, snuggling into comfy chairs. There are also extra large day-beds on the deck where you can sit with friends for a snack or a sundowner.  This spacious outdoor deck also offers a magnificent setting for all meals: breakfasts under the canopy in the morning sun, ocean view lunches in the sea breeze and al-fresco dining under the stars.

Inside, on the same deck, guests can take a break in the air conditioned salon, complete with entertainment system, large flat screen TV and a media library and meals can be enjoyed in the elegant interior dining area just next to the salon, should the weather dictate. At the stern on the main deck is the spacious master cabin which offers magnificent sea views, a king size bed, Italian shower and twin basins.  Six more tastefully decorated cabins are on the lower deck.

Diving & plenty of water sports

Diving is always done from two 5 meter Zodiacs. These are custom designed, stable and sport a special tank set up and tailor made boarding ladder. After diving guests can enjoy the fresh water shower on board the main yacht. The Zodiacs are also used for shore trips when appropriate during a cruise.  Mutiara Laut offers plenty of water sports including snorkeling, water skiing, sea kayaking, wakeboard and stand up paddle. There is even a banana boat for the younger guests to enjoy.

Wonderful Asian fusion food...

Two fully trained chefs will ensure that you never go hungry.  Continental buffet breakfast is served on deck, with fresh-baked bread, croissants, muffins, pancakes, eggs, sausages and bacon, cereals, sliced tropical fruits and a traditional Indonesian breakfast dish as well.  The well balanced lunch buffet presents different choices mixing Western and Asian cuisines. Delicious Indonesian dishes alternate with Western classics.  A 3-course dinner, served at the table will include high quality meats imported from New Zealand or Australia, and the freshest fish and seafood sourced locally, often directly from fishermen who come alongside the ship.
